Special edition Bunny Runs
This year, with triathletes Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee competing in the London 2012 Olympics, each race has a special edition themed number to honour these two great Yorkshire lads, so why not collect all four? This is our little tribute to them as they prepare for the biggest event this country has ever seen. Please be aware they are very unlikely to be running, although Alistair has bet the organiser £50 he will finally win a Bunny in 2013! Jonny is the better Bunny runner than Alistair as he has won an Egg Stage and finished second.
It's Bunny Time - 1300 gooey Cadbury's Creme Eggs, flashing bunny ears, Easter eggs galore ready and waiting in anticipation of chocolate-hungry runners. Last year's winners Adam Osborne and Katie Walshaw feature on the overall Bunny Beer labels.
For the true hares, there's the 'Egg Stage', a fast and furious dash round the small loop with extra chocolate for the first man and lady past the hopping bunny sign.
Then there's the chance to win prizes in the fancy dress competition.
And why not take part in the guess the winners' time competition - see the clipboard at registration to enter.
The Bunnies are renowned for post race fun - free soup and roll in the Old Sun Hotel,
race video of that night's event on the big screen, stacks and stacks of Easter Eggs in an extensive prize list, watch in
awe as the first man, lady and vet stagger under the sheer weight of goodies, then the finale the famous chocolate throw out!
